What are the disadvantages?
According to our engineers, there are no real drawbacks to an IP camera, the only thing that many customers get stuck on are IP cameras that are connected via a switch, or router, in this case the IP cameras are not connected to an IP camera recorder itself and the customer must therefore manually activate all cameras and provide them with ip addresses with username and passwords. So if you would connect an IP camera directly to a PoE recorder, you no longer have to manually set everything in your network, because the NVR recorder already does this for all connected IP cameras itself.

Use without recorder?
Is also no problem, what many customers do not know is that you can buy an IP camera with SD card recording, so in this case you do not need a separate network recorder for recording and is also extra cost-effective. The only thing you should not forget is that if you do not have a PoE switch for your IP camera, you will have to buy a power adapter to power your IP camera.

Which resolution IP camera is most bought?
At the moment we see that the 4 megapixel systems sell the best, but for a few months now customers are increasingly opting for the 8MP resolution because the prices are not that much higher and that customers prefer to order an 8MP IP camera. Of course, this is different for every customer.

Something cheaper than an IP camera?
An ip camera system still costs more money than an analog system, while analog can now provide just as beautiful images as an IP camera.
