This is a glass fiber converter with a DVI input/output. 
Comes with a transmitter and receiver.
With 1 channel for high resolution video transmission. 
The signal can be sent via single mode or multi mode.

The DVI optical transmitter and receiver perform the most advanced technology with high quality signal transfer. 
Through the optical fiber transmission is synchronous, undistorted and uncompressed data transferred. 
The computer host exports the high definition video signal over a long distance. 
Supports 1 channel DVI high definition video transmission.
Supports resolutions of UXGA 1600*1200/WUXGA 1920*1200@60Hz, HDTV 1080p 1920*1080@60Hz, maximum bandwidth is 4.95Gbps.

The optical DVI transmitter used LC 4 core optical fiber transmission. 
The resolution can be up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 hz. The signal can be transferred via single mode or multi mode. 
In single mode the signal can reach 20 kilometers.
550 meters can be reached at multi mode.

Connect the sender first before you start to use the monitors. 
Via the EDID programming transmitter you can read and write the data.
Then the data can be stored in different kinds of resolutions. 
The use of this is more concise, convenient and reliable.

Installation

Step 1: Turn on the PC and the monitor power.

Step 2: Read the EDID monitor, following steps are methods:

(1) Open the monitor power supply first, and then connect the transmitter DVI interface to the DVI interface of display device.

(2) When connection completed, then connects the power of the transmitter, and ensures the power light red LED lights up.

(3) Press the transmitter EDID read/write button, when the EDID R/W light lights up, it is reading the EDID information of display device. Indicator light goes out after 10 seconds and its mean read EDID information is completed; switch off the power of the transmitter and DVI transmitter.

Note: if a change in another display device, please do the second step again. 

Step 3: Connect the transmitter DVI interface to the PC of the DVI interface, the EDID will shining lights, put out after 2 seconds.

Step 4: Connect 5V power adapter to the receiver, and ensure that the power light red LED lights up. Then connect the DVI port of receiver to display.

Step 5: Connect LC fiber optic connectors according to following chart (see pictures), When the 4 core fibers corresponding connected, Receiver green lights 1~4 lights up.
