Many companies opt for the convenience of a complete camera set. Not surprising, because with this you have arranged the complete surveillance of your company in one go: one or more security cameras, a recorder to store all recordings and, if desired, a monitor to view the images. Moreover, a complete set is also much cheaper than purchasing all parts separately. When choosing a camera surveillance set, there are several questions that you should ask yourself.
How many cameras do you need? When you want to protect a small room, one camera is often enough, but when the room is larger or when you want to protect multiple rooms, you probably need multiple cameras. Exactly how much, that depends on the space. If you can't figure this out yourself, you can always contact us for advice. Does the set of your choice have too few cameras? No problem! All our sets can be expanded with additional cameras as desired.
What type of cameras do you choose? There are several things to consider when choosing the type of camera. For example, consider the signal, the design and whether the camera is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Want to know more about this? Then view our separate page about security camera selection aid.
Do you need a surveillance recorder? If you are going to use the set for surveillance purposes, where a guard watches live and the images do not have to be saved, then you do not need a recorder. However, our customers often want to save the images for later viewing. This is, for example, very useful for proof. In that case, a recorder is indispensable. Tip: See our surveillance recorders page for more information.
Do you need a monitor? The reverse is of course also possible. If you only want to save the images and do not have to watch live, a set of one or more cameras and a recorder is enough. You always need a monitor for surveillance purposes. A set with both a monitor and a recorder is of course also possible.
Do you want to be able to listen? For some of our customers, especially Escape Rooms, it is important to be able to listen in addition to the video images. For these customers we offer sets whose cameras have a built-in microphone.
Would you rather put together a set yourself? Do the sets on this page not quite meet your requirements? Then of course you can always put together your own set. To help you with this, we have created a special page with all the information you need to put together a security camera set.
